Custom Home for the Artinger family

We handled this design-build project all the way from conception to turnkey home.  The Artinger family’s new waterfront forever-home is one that sits just beside the Blackwater and includes a custom pool overlooking the lake. 

 

We strategically designed the rear elevation of the home with the beautiful exterior view in mind. The sunroom and breakfast nook overlook the water to provide the perfect spot to sip their morning coffee in. The open concept living room and kitchen spaces open to the same view to provide a place everyone wants to join together at in the home. 

 

We performed site borings and tested the soil layers over 35 feet down to design an extensive foundation plan to work around a lot with very loose soil and high-water table.  We brought in over 100 loads of dirt for this lot on top of what the original subdivision developer already utilized. The home is framed with 5 structural load paths (FL code only requires 1) and is an efficient build with green materials. Knowing this was the perfect location for the Artinger’s, we did all we could to work through many obstacles to provide a luxury buildout for our very pleased clients!
